On February 28, 2023, the man who gave his name to our high school would have been 200 years old.
The BTS Tourism presents you the course of this special day within the school.
Who was it?
Born in Tréguier on February 28, 1823, Joseph Ernest Renan was a French writer and philosopher of the 19th century.
During his life, he devoted much of his work to theology (the study of religion), notably by writing Histoire des origines du christianisme (in 7 volumes, from 1863 to 1881), the first volume of which is devoted to the Life of Jesus (1863).
